Thailand Holiday 2015

Hey y’all , After working for years with out break , finally planned a holiday trip to Thailand .

Waiting at the Dilmun Lounge -Bahrain International Airport to Board my flight .

On the way I had a lay over at Plaza Premium Lounge – Muscat International Aiport for 2 hours which was nice . After 5 something hours later olid

I have been to Bangkok twice before , for some reason I was not aware that there is a Sky Train that connects to the city like in 20 minutes . I was staying in Silom so it was like 80 Bhat until Phaya Tai , then I took a connecting train from Siam to Chong Nonsi and a 10 minutes walk to my Hotel Pullman G Bangkok managed by Accor Hotels .

My flight landed very late because of which I reached my hotel a bit after 1800 hrs it was pouring , but I still managed to head out for a drink and first time Black Burger at 25 Degrees Resturant

Next day went out for a coffee at The Rocket Coffee Bar

On the way to the Coffee shop spotted a beautiful tower which turned out to be The Ritz Carlton Residences , which is under construction at the moment , well almost finished . The architect of this building is breathtaking , no doubt it will be very posh .

Went to this Thai restaurant which  very famous in Silom for its food cuisines called Somboon Seafood

The Next morning went to the Pool at the Hotel , the hotel has a nice chill out area

Finally get to meet a really good friend who Invited me at the Desi Beatz Resturant, This place was amazing and Sheesha in Bangkok was kind of a surprise . It was great seeing Kam after almost two years , She is the reason I visited Pullman G again, when she worked at the Hotel she was and still is so Professional with her work ethics .

Kam took me to the Wat Hua Lumphong Temple where you can donate a Coffin , which helps deceased people who don’t have family and could afford a coffin to be buried in , its the best money I have every spent in my entire life .

Next day was my flight to Phuket via AirAsia , Personally I booked the flight as it was cheap but when I calculated the Taxi cost from my hotel to the Airport , the cost was almost same for a flight that I could get via Bangkok Airways or Thai Airways which operates via Suvarnabhumi International Airport and  can take a Skytrain conveniently from the City to the airport for few Bhats , the Airasia operates via Don Mueang International Airport which I am not sure how far in miles/km is it from Silom but was 800 Bhat Far away via taxi .

Took a Bus from the Phuket Airport till to Phuket Bus Terminal via Airport Bus Phuket– Schedules can be checked online.

Arrived at the B – Lay Tong Hotel managed by Accor Hotels. , booked the Grand Delux Suite with Private Jaccuzi .

After checking in to my hotel and all that traveling needed a night out for a drink at the famous Bangla Road Street.

Booked at Tour for the Phi Phi – Island with Snorkeling , online via Phulet Tours Direct. I would recommend to get the VIP Cruise , its technically in the same cruise ship but its a separate Air conditioned area , where the staff  make sure you are treated for what you have paid for with complementary Food / Drinks , etc .

The Cruise parks near the Phi Phi Islands at the snorkeling are all , the VIP’s are transferred to another boat which has the snorkeling gear , food / drinks .

Be careful of the corals as they did cut my leg . It was my fault as I was like a toddler snorkeling for the first time and these fishes almost ate my leg .

Next Day was chilling at /in the Pool , the best thing about this hotel is the Infinity Pool , extremely relaxing .

After the pool session was time to enjoy the beautiful sunset, I found this secret spot when you leave the hotel take a right go straight you will see it at the left , be careful and make sure to keep your shoes on as there was lot of broken glass.

James Bond Island Tour in a Long tail Boat & Kayaking

You can book the tour from Here.

Finally had my last dinner in Phuket at The Irish Times Pub at Patong Beach. Was very nice they have Karaoke as well.

The next day was an adventurous trip to Koh Samui via Ferry Samui , I personally made the reservation with the facility of pick and Drop from the Hotel . I think there is information missing on the website as it doesn’t describes the Travel details , during the almost 7 hours trip there is like 5 hours trip in Bus to the Ferry Port , which was very much pain in the ***. After we arrived at the port we had a Ferry ride almost one and half hours long .

After I arrived at Samui I was collected by my already booked transport to my Hotel .

I was staying at the Samui Resotel Beach Resort at the Chaweng Beach .

Booked at the Ocean Pool Villa with a private Pool facing the beautiful Sea , very relaxing and rejuvenating .

Next Day was Site seeing

Viisited the Lad Ko Viewpoint ,

This place is so beautiful and relaxing has beautiful panorama views. Lad Koh also known as “Zenith Viewpoint” is located on route 4169 between Chaweng Beach and Lamai Beach. I did walk down to the rocks for a selfie 🙂 . Its like 15 minutes drive from Chaweng beach passing the Dr. Frogs restaurant

After the view point went to the Na Muang Waterfall, The place was so relaxing and beautiful . I had to jump in the water , like everyone else . There are levels which I lost track off

Got back to the hotel chilled out and went to the Famous Ark Bar .

I was very lucky as it was weekend and they had Fire show going on , check out the video I made with my iPhone 6 not bad eh:

After Ark bar we head to the The Green Mango Club or Street . I did made lot of new Friends on the way was awesome night .

Last Day in Samui a friend from France , Montpelier took me around to showed me to Couple of beautiful Temples & a nice Bike ride through the beautiful Samui Jungle & Lamai Beach .

The next day the adventure began in Koh Phanghan . Its only 30 minutes away from Samui . I booked a ferry via Lomprayah .

After I arrived to the Pier in Koh Phanghan , we can easily find a taxi after a short walk like 10 minutes , you pay like 250 to 30 Bhat depending where you heading .

I was staying at the Sunset Hill Boutique resort, at Haad Chao Pao , extremly relaxing , I was personally in a bad place when I reached Koh Phanghan , this place healed me , Emotionally and mentally , really heaven . After having this beautiful view from my bedroom and balcony I sure feel blessed (I better , I paid for the damn thing) LOL .

I would recommend to get a room in the Rose buildying , the views are breathtaking .

The resort had complimentary trips twice daily to Haad YaoBeach & the Secret Beach , its secret so I ant telling ya .

The Secret Beach

Haad Yao Beach

A Good friend of mine came all the way from Samui to Koh Phanghan protect me PFF, as I have never been to a Full Moon Party before, a good thing too and I would never want to be alone here (I quickly realized that, as soon as I reached at the Party). If you love to party this place is for you , but for me I left ASAP .

If you want the painting done on your body , ill recommend to buy paint after getting the wrist bands much more cheaper .

The last day in Koh Phanghan was pool time , the hotel had a beautiful Infinity Pool with a Sunset special Cocktail drinks, with a sunset view.

Contact me if y’all want some tips .

THE END 🙂
